Srinagar: PDP President and former Jammu and Kashmir CM Mehbooba Mufti made objectionable remarks on Article 35A on Sunday. He attacked the central government, saying that tampering with Article 35 A is like arming gunpowder. Mehbooba Mufti said that the hands that would rise to tamper with 35 A would not only be burnt to ashes.

Former CM Mehbooba Mufti attacked the central government saying that the Centre is bent on destroying Kashmir completely. Kashmiris have to defend their constitution. The Jammu and Kashmir Bank was ruined. Governments will come and go, but Kashmir should remain safe. He said, we will accept Jammu and Kashmir as special status.

Former CM Mehbooba Mufti had launched an attack on Saturday over the additional 10,000 security forces deployed by the central government in Jammu and Kashmir. Mehbooba Mufti tweeted on Saturday that the additional deployment of 10,000 troops in the Kashmir valley by the central government is causing fear among the people.
