Srinagar: In Kathu rally, Prime Minister Narendra Modi charged the People's Democratic Party (PDP) and the National Conference (NC) of dividing India. Now, taking a swipe on the PM Modi’s comment PDP chief Mehbooba Mufti asked why did BJP form government in Jammu and Kashmir in alliance with them if the saffron party doesn't agree with its ideology.

Mehbooba Mufti took to Twitter and wrote, "Why does  PM bash political families pre-elections & then sends his envoys to stitch alliances with the very same parties? NC in 99 & PDP in 2015. Why do they choose power over Article 370 then?,"

Earlier, PM Modi had said that PDP and NC have destroyed three generations of the state. He had also accused the regional parties along the Congress for the exodus for the Kashmiri Pandits from the valley. PM Modi said that Congress and its partners only cared about their vote bank and overlooked the atrocities on Kashmiri Pandits.
