Indore: A shocking case has come to light from Indore, Madhya Pradesh. In fact, here an 18-year-old youth has committed suicide by asking for online Sulphas from Amazon. Police have sent notices to two Amazon officers in the case. A notice has reportedly been sent to the officers asking them to appear before the police on Wednesday. The police will take detailed information about the legal aspects of the verification of sellers of this poisonous substance. Talking about this whole matter, local fruit seller Ranjit Verma has filed an online order on Amazon in July against this e-commerce company by his son Aditya Verma (18) for ordering sulfas and killing himself by consuming this poisonous substance. It was requested to register the case and arrest of its concerned officers.

Police have summoned Amazon officials in view of their plea. Additional Superintendent of Police (ASP) Rajesh Vyas informed about the matter, "On the complaint of the father of the deceased, we have issued notices to two officers of the business development and information technology (IT) departments of the company. The ASP also said, "The notice has asked Amazon officials to appear before the police on Wednesday. He also said, "When these officers appear, we will take detailed information from them on the legal aspects of online sale of sulfas on Amazon and verification of vendors of this toxic substance.”

A case has been registered against the Executive Directors of Amazon India under the relevant provision of the NDPS act after the police in Bhind district of the state recently disclosed a gang involved in illegal trade in drug ganja under the guise of a plant-based sweetener (stevia).
