Berlin: The Manufactur Signature Edition of Mercedes-Benz's top-of-the-line electric sedan, the EQS, has been unveiled for the world markets. Deliveries of the ultra-luxurious model are anticipated to start by the end of 2023.

The special edition model will be available in four distinctive colour schemes called the Silicon Grey Non-Metallic, Rubellite Red Metallic, Night Black Magno, and Kalahari Gold Magno.

Mercedes-Benz's EQ electric mobility division stands for two values that are deeply ingrained in the business: emotion and intelligence. However, the automaker has added a special Manufaktur Signature Edition model to its flagship sedan, the EQS, to raise its luxury factor.

The limited-edition EV model has some luxurious accents, including hand-stitched Nappa leather upholstery and distinctive colour schemes.

The Mercedes-Benz EQS Manufaktur Signature Edition's appearance is largely unchanged from the base model. To set the EV apart from the standard model, four distinct paint jobs are available. It has 20-inch designer wheels, full-width DRLs, a closed-off grille, a sloping roofline, flush-fitted door handles, and digital LED headlights. Connected LED taillights adorn the back.

 

Diamond-quilted Nappa leather upholstery is provided inside the Mercedes-Benz EQS Manufaktur Signature Edition in the shades of Rose Grey, Deep White, Yacht Blue, Tobacco Brown, and Mystic Red.

It has a high-gloss Manufaktur logo on the centre console, a two-tone leather-wrapped steering wheel, high-pile carpet floor mats, microfiber-covered headrest pillows, and a key with rose gold and high-gloss black finishes.

The Mercedes-Benz EQS Manufaktur Signature Edition has a variety of ADAS features for the protection of the passengers.In addition to Active Distance Assist DISTRONIC, Active Steering, Traffic Sign Assist, Active Lane Change Assist, ATTENTION ASSIST, Active Brake Assist with Cross-Traffic Function, Active Blind Spot Assist with Exit Warning Function, and Evasive Steering Assist, the list also includes Active Distance Assist DISTRONIC. It has nine airbags for additional safety.

Dual electric motors are connected to a sizable 107.8kWh Lithium-ion battery pack to power the Mercedes-Benz EQS Manufaktur Signature Edition. The system produces 523 hp and 855 nm. The electric sedan's stated maximum range on a single charge is 857 kilometres.
