Mercedes-Benz India Luxury MPV's new variant Mercedes-Benz V-Class Elite trim will be launched in India on 7 November 2019. It is speculated that the new variant of the MPV will be based on the V-Class facelift which was introduced earlier this year, a few weeks before the facelifted model starts selling in India. The V-Class Elite will likely be built on the top model and will be offered with a longer wheelbase.

It is to be noted that the Mercedes-Benz V-Class Elite will be fitted with a 2.2-liter diesel engine that generates 160 bhp power and 380 Nm peak torque. This oil burner engine will be equipped with a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission. The MPV sold at the global level is available in the new four-cylinder OM 654 engine is a 2.0-liter diesel unit. The new engine comes in two power options that generate 190 bhp power and 239 bhp power, while the company has given it a 9G-tronic gearbox. The estimated price of the car will be around 90 lakh rupees.

Talking about the exterior, Mercedes-Benz India can offer the changed headlamps, bumpers and grille in this car. The cabin of the car will probably be given new controls, turbine-style air vents and a larger infotainment system with a new dashboard layout. The car will get 4-seater and 7-seater options which will now be made available with higher premium quality materials, leather upholstery. In the outdoor market, this Mercedes-Benz MPV camper comes with the package, it will be interesting to see whether this package attracts Indian customers.
