Moving from the Lite version of Facebook’s social app that was launched a year ago, now Facebook is has now launched a new venture which will be a much low storage occupying, and which can be used widely. Facebook’s Messaging App Messenger now has a LITE version.

It is aimed at emerging markets, where many people use older phones that don't have enough room to store or ability to run the full-featured application due to slower internet speeds or other issues.

The Messenger Lite version will be limited to the Android mobiles that are little backwards in their configuration, and for those people who belong to unprivileged area where fast internet connectivity is difficult, like Kenya, Tunisia. Malaysia, Sri lanka and Venezuela. This is new idea was implemented today on October 3rd 2016.

David Marcus, head of messaging products at Facebook Inc., said in an interview that Messenger's goal is to be a "product for everyone, not only people who can afford a higher-end device and more expensive data plan.''
