Mexico report 8,608 new Covid-19 cases in 24 hours, 249 deaths

Mexico City: Corona is wreaking havoc in all over the world.  Mexico is also hit by this virus which have affected the country to a great extent. Mexico on Sunday reported 8,608 new Covid-19 cases, bringing the covid-19 tally to 1,250,044.

According to its health ministry, the country's death toll from the virus increased by 249 to 113,953. The country has the world's fourth-highest coronavirus death toll, after the United States, Brazil, and India. Mexico ranks fourth among Latin American countries in terms of documented Covid-19 cases, following Brazil, Argentina, and Colombia.

According to Johns Hopkins University, the global coronavirus cases has topped 72.2 million, while the deaths have increased to more than 1.61 million. The US is the worst-hit country with the world's highest number of cases and deaths at 16,246,771 and 299,163, respectively. The current global caseload and death toll stood at 72,201,716 and 1,611,758, respectively.
