Mexico City: Coronavirus continue wreaking havoc in  Mexico. there are 7,16,80,130 confirmed COVID-19 cases across the world. The country reported fresh 12,057 new COVID-19 cases, bringing the national total to 1,241,436'.

According to the health minister, the country's death toll from the virus increased by 685 to 113,704. The country  ranks fourth among Latin American countries in terms of documented COVID-19 cases, following Brazil, Argentina and Colombia.Mexican Deputy Health Minister Hugo Lopez-Gatell said earlier in the week that the country is currently at its second peak of the pandemic due to an increase in infections. Maxco is world's fourth-highest COVID-19 death toll, after the United States, Brazil and India.

Globally, there are 7,16,80,130 confirmed COVID-19 cases across 191 counties, which has led to 16,04,907 deaths. India has 9857029 confirmed cases of COVID-19. Of these cases, 143019 people have succumbed to the infection while 9357464 have recovered.
