The company is producing this SUV at the Halol plant in Gujarat. To continue this process, the company has released a teaser video of the Hector Plus SUV. This video shows how the interior of the new Hector will be. The Hector Plus SUV will be MG's third product in India before the company launched the Hector and ZS EV in the Indian market. Talking about the interior, then the new Hector Plus will have three rows. Its interior will be equipped with Fox Leather upholstery, beige headliner, revised dashboard, and similar ten panels. The company will offer a captain seat in the middle row in this SUV and it will be given the option of 6-seater and 7-seater layout. Air vents for the third-row passenger, rear AC vents, and adjustable headrests will be provided for all passengers.
Apart from all these, the remaining features in the new Hector Plus will be taken from the 5-seater Hector. Such as connected car technology, a 10.4-inch touchscreen unit is included. Like the 5-seater Hector, the new Hector Plus will also be a connected car that will provide over the air (OTA) updates to customers such as firmware, themes, infotainment content, etc. In terms of engine and power, the 2.0-liter diesel BS6 engine will be given in the MG Hector Plus SUV, the second 1.5-liter mild-hybrid petrol engine. Both engines will be offered with a 6-speed manual gearbox standard with dual-clutch automatic transmission (DCT) option.
