MG Motor's amazing SUV Hector enjoys a great popularity in India. The engineers and workers hard work is behind the sucesss of this SUV. Now, An all-women crew has manufactured the 50,000th unit of the MG Hector in Vadodara, Gujarat.
Women carried out the entire production work, from sheet metal pressing to welding to the painting job, of the 50,000th unit of the MG Hector. Even the post-production test runs were conducted by them. MG Motor India President and Managing Director Rajeev Chaba said, "MG has always been a progressive brand with diversity, community, innovation and experiences as our cornerstones. We believe that it is something that has broadened our perspective as a brand and unlocked efficiencies in every aspect of our business operations."
The SUV is available in four variants -- Style, Super, Smart and Sharp. It gets three powertrain options -- 1.5-litre turbo-petrol mill (143PS and 250Nm) with 6-speed MT/6-speed DCT, 1.5-litre turbo-petrol hybrid motor (143PS and 250Nm) with 6-speed MT and 2.0-litre turbo-diesel engine (170PS and 350Nm) with 6-speed MT. MG Motor India had launched the 2021 Hector in January. The SUV is currently available in the price range of Rs 12.90 lakh to Rs 18.63 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).
