Actor-Director M.G. Srinivas has grown popular over the years for his penchant to associate with interesting, mostly semi-budget projects. Be it through his directorial ventures like the first installment of the Birbal Trilogy or solely as an actor, Srinivas is creating a brand of his own that is proving to be quite popular especially among urban audiences. Now, taking things a notch further, Srinivas will soon feature as an actor in a new horror-comedy titled 'Andalamma'.

Directed by Nuthan Umesh who has previously made films like 'Krishnan Marriage Story' and 'Asthitva', the new film with M.G. Srinivas comes forth as a special announcement on the latter's birthday. "Hani, Hani Horror Kahani" goes the tagline of the film as the makers also release the film's first poster via social media earlier today. M.G. Srinivas, who was apparently being coaxed by his fans for many days to take up a horror project, unveiled the poster through his Twitter account.

Alongside, M.G. Srinivas is also directing the quirky comedy 'Old Monk' wherein he also plays the lead while Aditi Prabhudeva stars opposite him. The first look of 'Old Monk' was unveiled a few weeks ago, and as expected, Srinivas promises to offer something new and unique with this project as well. On the other hand, the first installment of the 'Birbal Trilogy', 'Finding Vajramuni', is now being remade into Tamil after finding suitors in Telugu earlier. The success of Srinivas' original Kannada version has also led to fans demanding the subsequent parts at the earliest.
