The Ministry of Home Affairs has sought applications for recruitment to the post of Assistant Central Intelligence Officer Grade II. A total of 2,000 vacant officer posts will be filled through this recruitment drive. Interested candidates can apply by visiting the official portal mha.gov.in. Interested candidates should note that the last date to apply today is 09 January. The last date for submission of application fee through online mode is also 09 January. Candidates will be able to pay the offline fee till 12 January.

How to apply:
Step 1: Go to official portal mha.gov.in or http://ncs.gov.in.
Step 2: Go to the recruitment section shown on the homepage.
Step 3: Use your credentials to register.
Step 4: On completion of registration ID and password will be found.
Step 5: Complete the application by filling the details and submit the fee.
Step 6: Save a printout of the filled form with you.

Candidates have to appear in Tier-1 examination first. This will be an exam for 100 numbers in which those who get at least 35 numbers will be shortlisted for the next round. Negative marking will also be applicable in the exam. The cut-off for OBC and EWS candidates is 34 and SC is number 33 for SC category. On the basis of joint performance in Tier-1 and Tier-2, the candidates will be shortlisted for the interview round.
