Chinese smartphone maker Xiaomi has launched its next-generation fitness band Mi Band 5 in China. The Mi Band 5 has been introduced with NFC support and has four colorful straps. The Mi Band 5 has a 1.1-inch color AMOLED display, while the Mi Band 4 has a 0.95-inch display. However, the company has not yet shared official information about the launch of this fitness band in other countries including India.

After a single charge, it has a backup claim of up to 14 days regarding its battery. This band is water-resistant and will not deteriorate even when submerged in 50 meters deep water. It has a magnetic charging dock. It has a large 1.1 inch display which is Super AMOLED. It will get 100 new animated watch faces. In the new band, you will get 11 sports modes. In addition, there is support for Personal Activity Intelligence (PAI). This band also has a slipping track monitoring system.

The Mi Band 5 without NFC support variant costs 189 Chinese Yuan i.e. around Rs 2,000 and the NFC support variant costs 299 Chinese Yuan i.e. around Rs 2,500. The band will be found in black, red, green, and yellow color straps. It will be sold in China from June 18. There is no information about its availability in India.
