Cases of accident tend to happen every now and then and in the same row, in France, there have been a slight collision between microlight aircraft that led to the death of people. Five people were killed after a tourist plane and a microlight aircraft got collided in western France on Saturday, the local government announced. The small microlight that was carrying two people collided with a DA40 tourist plane with three people onboard around 4:30 pm (1430 GMT) in Loches in the Indre-et-Loire department, local government official Nadia Seghier told a leading American daily.

The local government official Seghier said, "(The microlight) landed on the fence around a house without harming anyone else, (the DA40) several hundred meters away in an uninhabited area." He further added saying, "All five people involved died." Around 50 firefighters were called out while 30 gendarmes set up road detours around the crash sites. This incident brought to light the negligence of operators who were handling the flight.

The report given to officials stated, "Air emergency staff from Lyon were brought in at first to track down the plane, which was quickly found."  No details about the identities of the victims or the causes of the collision have so far been released. Cops in Loches have taken over the investigation into the crash. The matter is currently being investigated.
