Cooperative and Public Service Management Minister Dr Arvind Singh Bhadauria recently said, 'The accounts and other arrangements of all 4523 Primary Agricultural Credit Cooperative Societies of the state will now be computerized and made online, so that loans to farmers, agricultural inputs and other facilities will be accessible at home. He also said that for this the government will computerize the institutions with its own resources without putting any weight on all the primary agricultural credit cooperatives of the state.
The Cooperative Minister said, 'Computerization of institutions will establish a transparent, fair and clean functioning in the committees, while complaints of irregularities in credit distribution and agricultural inputs will also be controlled'. He also said that action is being taken to bring transparency, increase efficiency and maximum use of modern technology in the works of Cooperative Department and Primary Agricultural Credit Cooperatives. A system of online registration without contact with cooperative institutions has been started in the state. This process has been implemented by amending the cooperative rules. Now registration of cooperatives will be done through the only contactless online process. A clean and transparent system will also be established in the registration of cooperative institutions.
Similarly, the presentation of cases, hearing proceedings and orders and decisions in cooperative courts will be done by online method only. It is being told that with this arrangement, the parties will be able to take a copy of the updated status of their cases, date, status of the cases, orders and decisions online from anywhere.
