Chandigarh: A 17-year-old girl alleged that she was being raped and harassed by a photographer since the last three months in Hisar. The police investigation is underway.

According to the report, the victim in her complaint told cops that the accused raped her on three-four occasions. He also took some objectional photos of her and started blackmailing her for the same. As per the report of TOI, the girl used to work at a beauty parlour in the city but quit her job shortly after. The accused, who had a photo studio nearby assured her that he would get her a job elsewhere. Eventually, he started frequenting her house and even ferried her from home to the parlour.

In the complaint, The rape survivor mentioned that in the meantime, the accused, on the pretext of modelling, took some photographs of her along with him. Reportedly, he then started blackmailing her on the basis of those photographs and in November 2017, he then forcefully took her to Hisar and raped her. The accused then took some objectionable photos of her and raped her repeatedly on three-four occasions. However, in February 2018 when the girl stopped talking to him, the accused harassed her by calling her from different mobile numbers and even sent the photos to her sister to blackmail her.
