Mirzapur: The second season of Mirzapur web series was awaited by fans for the past 2 years, which ended on the night of October 22. Anupriya Patel, MP from Mirzapur City of UP, has demanded an investigation against the web series Mirzapur terming it as violent. She tagged PM Narendra Modi and CM Yogi Adityanath through social media and demanded a probe into the series. Anupriya tweeted, "Mirzapur is developed under the leadership of Hon'ble Prime Minister @narendramodi ji and Hon'ble Chief Minister @myogiadityanath Ji, it is a centre of harmony, it is being maligned as a violent area through a web series called Mirzapur. Ethnic disharmony is also being spread through this series. '

In her next tweet, Anupriya wrote, "As a Parliamentarian of Mirzapur City, my demand is that there should be an investigation and action should be taken against it @PrakashJavdekar @narendramodi @myogiadityanath. ' Mirzapur web series was released on OTT platform Amazon Prime Video on October 22. The series was to be released on 23rd October, but it was released sometime back.
