Chandigarh: A case of misbehaviour has come to light at the world-famous Golden Temple located in Amritsar, Punjab. After this incident, the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) has issued a statement clarifying and saying that if anyone gets hurt, they apologise. The surprising thing is that the tricolour was made on the girl's cheek and an employee of the Golden Temple showed a strip on it.

In this regard, SGPC General Secretary Gurcharan Singh Grewal has said that it is a matter of shame that people are tweeting. We respect all the devotees who come here from all over the world. Sikhs also played an important role in the independence of the country, but every time, only Sikhs are targeted. Grewal said, 'This is a Sikh religious place; every religious place has its own dignity. We welcome everyone... If any officer has misbehaved, we apologise. The flag on his face was not our national flag because it did not have the Ashoka Chakra. It looked like a political flag.

People from all walks of life and all religions have complete freedom to come for worship in Harmandir Sahib. It has a parikrama path around the lake with four entrances.
