New Delhi: Finally, after spending 20 hours enclosed by the students, the Vice Chancellor of Delhi's Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) along with other officials were allowed to stand-off. Also, the reward of Rs. 50,000 has been announced by the police for providing any information about the missing student Najeeb Ahmed.

"We are doing everything we can to find Najeeb Ahmed...We are hoping he will come back to the university," said, Vice Chancellor M Jagadesh Kumar.

"We have not illegally confined anybody. Electricity and all kind of supplies are here. We have also sent food for the people", said the JNU Student’s Union president Mohit Sharma yesterday.

First year biotechnology student Najeeb Ahmad has been missing from the University since 11 a.m. on October 15 after a quarrel with students belonging to the ABVP at the Mahi-Mandavi Hostel.
