India and China conducted a joint army exercise in J&K

New Delhi: Today, a mutual army exercise has been carried out by the India and China in Eastern Ladakh in Jammu and Kashmir. The act comes in front due to hectic subtle maneuvering between both the Countries over lots of concerns which includes Nuclear Suppliers Group and designation of Masood Azhar as an arsonist by the United Nations.

The exercise was done in the Indian side along the Line of Actual Control (LAC) and Brigadier RS Raman led the exercise from the Indian side as well as Sr Col Fan Jun was there from the side of China.

The Army said in a statement that, “exercise was a great triumph and has not only polished the drills to provide succor to the border population in case of natural misfortune but has also increased the level of trust and cooperation between the two border guarding forces along the LAC in Eastern Ladakh”.

“The joint exercise, compliments the 'Hand in Hand' series of the India-China joint exercises and the attempts of both the nations to increase cooperation and maintain peace and calmness along the border areas of India and China”, it further added.
