Srinagar: For the involvement of employees in the anti-national acts, the government of Jammu and Kashmir dismissed over several workers.

As per the officer, "Reports on their anti-national activities prepared by the state police were forwarded to the Chief Secretary, who then directed respective heads of departments to issue orders terminating their services".

The employees who were dismissed consists of an assistant registrar of Kashmir University, moreover others from revenue, education, public health, food supplies and engineering.

 He further added, "The state government summoned Article 126 of the state constitution to carry out the action".

Some of the sacked workers were already reserved under the Public Safety Act, though others have eluded detained, said authorities.
