New Delhi: A major battle is going to start across the country as a corona vaccination campaign from January 16, tomorrow, but there has already been a respite from the Mizoram state of India. In Mizoram, not a single new case of corona virus has been reported within the last 24 hours.

As per the data released by the Government of Mizoram, no case of corona virus was reported in the state in the last 24 hours. At present, there are a total of 96 active cases of corona in the state. So far, 4310 cases of corona have been reported in Mizoram, out of which 9 people have lost their lives. The first death case of corona virus in Mizoram in October last year came to light when a 62-year-old man lost his war with corona. However, this person already had many health problems.

The first case of corona virus in Mizoram came to the fore on 24th March last year. The patient had a travel history. The 52-year-old pastor returned from the Netherlands. After treatment, he was discharged from the hospital after 45 days. After March, the second case unfolded on June 1, when 12 people were found infected with corona. According to local reports, Mizoram will get 18 thousand 500 vaccines for the first phase of corona vaccination. Out of these, 14 thousand 421 vaccines are planned to be given to health workers.
