Chandigarh: Sri Anandpur Sahib MP and senior Congress leader Manish Tewari has dismissed reports of quitting the Congress. Congress leader Manish Tewari's statement on this has come out. The Congress leader said in Ludhiana that I have said this many times before that we are not tenants in the Congress party, we are partners. We have given 40 years of our lives to the party, our family has shed blood for the party.

Manish Tewari termed as unfortunate the exit of former Law Minister Ashwani Kumar. He said, whenever a leader leaves the Congress, the party is at a loss. He further said that a seat in the Rajya Sabha makes a lot of money from the people. Manish Tewari has admitted that it is a serious matter. In the same vein, he said that if Sekhri has left the Congress, he may be looking for some political advantage behind it. He said he has a personal relationship with Captain Amarinder Singh. He used to meet with them in the past also and even after he leaves Congress, there is talk.

This time, Congress has not included Manish Tewari in the list of star campaigners in the Punjab Assembly elections. Manish Tewari is close to former Punjab CM Captain Amarinder Singh. He openly admits this. Talking to the media, Manish Tewari said that the star campaigners of the Congress also include names whose words will not even vote for his wife.
