The Anti-Social elements which spreads rumours in the impact of the violence that erupted in Kupwara district, that result in mobile internet services have been suspended in Kashmir  to prevent the following rumours.

Official said, “Internet services were unavailable to mobile subscribers in Kupwara, Baramulla, Bandipora and Ganderbal districts”

Residents of Srinagar and South Kashmir also said , “ We were unable to access mobile internet services in the morning”

As per the official, “ it was a temporary measure that would be withdrawn as soon as the situation returns to normal”

Since Tuesday, four civilians have already been killed in clashes between stone-pelting mobs and security forces in Kupwara district.
