New Delhi: The Modi government of the Center has made a big announcement for the beneficiaries coming under the 'Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Yojana'. The Modi government has announced a three-month free gas refill for the beneficiaries of the Ujjwala scheme. The scheme will remain in force from 1 April to 30 June. According to the official statement, till now the oil companies have transferred Rs 5,606 crore to the account of about 7.15 crore beneficiaries of the Ujjwala scheme.

It states that, 'This scheme is applicable from 1st April to 30th June. Under this, companies are depositing an advance equal to the value of 14.2 kg or five kg cylinder according to its package in the account of the beneficiary. Customers will be able to get the cylinder refilled with this amount. ' Companies like IOCL, BPCL and HPCL have already announced an ex-gratia of Rs five lakh for their employees working in various stages of supply chain including delivery buoys.

Companies say that in this difficult time, all the warriors including the delivery boy are engaged in their work. Companies are making sure that no one has to wait more than two days for delivery.
