New Delhi: The central government seems ready to adopt all methods to sell Air India. There are indications that the Modi government at the center will sell airline in any case this year. For the first time, there are indications from the Central Government that Air India can also repay the loan of Rs 60,000 crore. This is the first time when the government is also talking about paying the debt of the airline.

Union Civil Aviation Minister Hardeep Singh Puri while talking to a private TV channel has said that the government wants to make the sale of Air India attractive to any buyer. Due to the huge loan of 60,000 crore rupees on Air India, most companies are reluctant to buy it. The central government is now considering to repay the debt of the government airline itself. Hopefully after this new step, Air India can be sold easily.

According to Union Aviation Minister Harpreet, in the last few months, many foreign and domestic companies have expressed a desire to buy Air India. But the prices and government conditions are not being negotiated. The government says that Air India has been incurring losses for the last ten years. Everyday Air India is losing about 26 crores rupees.
