New Delhi: Employees of the Modi government at the center may now have to work for nine hours instead of eight. For this, the government is going to change the rules soon. The Central Government has also prepared a draft of the Wage Code Rule. In this, it has been recommended to increase the time of working time of government employees by one hour. Please tell that under the rule of eight hours of working time, the salary is fixed after 26 days of work. However, the declaration of the national minimum pay scale is not included in this draft.

The draft states that in the future an expert committee will send a separate recommendation to the government regarding the minimum pay scale. The Ministry of Labor has also sought suggestions from all concerned parties on this draft in a month. The rule will be finalized in December. First, a metropolitan city with a population of more than 4 million, second, a non-metropolitan city with a population of 10 to 4 million, and third a rural area.
