New Delhi: Congress Party National General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra on Tuesday termed the central government's vaccination policy as a failure and alleged that the government's directionlessness has led to both production and distribution of vaccines. In a Facebook post under series of questions to the government, she wrotr 'Who is responsible.' She also claimed that due to the policy of the Central Government, there are different vaccine prices in the country at present and no provision has been made to vaccinate those deprived of internet and documents.

Priyanka said, "Experts believe that vaccination of more and more people is necessary to defeat corona virus. Countries that vaccinated more populations had less impact from the second wave of the Covid-19 epidemic. The second wave in our country proved to be 320 per cent more deadly than the first wave. Who is responsible for this? India has the experience of delivering smallpox, polio vaccine from door to door, but the directionlessness of the Modi government has quadrupled both the production and distribution of anti-covid vaccine," he alleged.

Priyanka said, "In his speech dated August 15, 2020, PM Modi had taken the responsibility of vaccinating every citizen of the country and said that the entire roadmap is ready. But in April 2021, during the devastation of the second wave, Modiji, drawing his hands on the responsibility of vaccinating everyone, put half the burden on the State Governments. Priyanka claimed that "today many vaccination centres are under lock and vaccine work is going on at a very slow pace to vaccinate the population in the age group of 18-45 years.''
