Modi Ji ki credibility has been questioned says Rahul Gandhi

New Delhi [India], Dec 19 (NT): After giving neck to neck fight to BJP, Congress president Rahul Gandhi asserted on Tuesday that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has experienced a massive jolt following the outcomes of Gujarat Assembly polls.

Rahul addressed reporters outside the Parliament house that Three-four months back when we went to Gujarat it was told that Congress cannot contest in opposition to the BJP, but we did hard work and you noticed the results. The BJP has acknowledged a big jolt in Gujarat.

As conflicting to its aim of 150, the BJP secured only 99 seats in Gujarat, which is Prime Minister Narendra Modi's home state and the development in the region is touted as a model for other states.

Talking assertively from the Gujarat Polls, the new Congress president said he realized during his visit there that 'Gujarat Model' of development was hollow.

Rhul added that election outcomes further gave indications that the credibility of Prime Minister Modi has come into question.

"Modi Ji ki credibility has been questioned. He has a credibility problem," Rahul quoted.

The BJP on Monday made his win in the Gujarat assembly polls for the sixth straight time against Congress. (ANI)
