New Delhi: Narendra Modi, the prime minister of India, is in the United States on a three-day state visit.
The official ‘State Visit’ to the U.S. is scheduled during June 21-23 which will be followed by a similar visit to Cairo.
Over 400 people, including Mukesh Ambani, Apple CEO Tim Cook, and Google CEO Sundar Pichai, attended a dinner for Modi on June 22 hosted by US President Joe Biden.
The Indian PM spoke to the guests at dinner and discussed the developing connection between the United States and India. Modi specifically mentioned the upcoming ICC World Cup qualifiers in that statement.

The 72-year-old expressed his best wishes for USA cricket ahead of the World Cup scheduled for October in India and also mentioned that the sport is expanding quickly in the US.

“Americans love baseball, but cricket is also becoming popular. The USA side is trying their best to qualify for the fifty-over World Cup in India. I wish them good luck and success. “
