Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah has been voted the best male player of the year for the second time by his fellow professional footballers in England, while Chelsea striker Sam Kerr has also been given the honour in the women's section. Salah has also become the 7th player to win the award more than once from the Professional Footballers' Association. He scored 23 goals in the Premier League this season and also assisted in scoring 14 goals.
Salah said, "I have a room for trophies and I made sure I should have another place. I always make room and imagine that the trophies are coming. Kerr also helped Chelsea win the title with a maximum of 20 goals in the women's league.
