Indian team boxer Mohammad Hasmuddin (57 kg) lost in the final of the 71st Stranza Memorial boxing tournament going on in Sofia, Bulgaria, on Saturday, for which he had to be satisfied with the silver medal.

At the same time, let us tell you that Commonwealth Games bronze medalist Hasmuddin suffered a 1–4 defeat to Francisco Maietta of Italy in the final. Hasmuddin has also won silver medal in this tournament in 2017.

It has also been found that earlier World Championship silver medalist Sonia Lather (57 kg) and four-time Asian champion Shiva Thapa (63 kg) had to be content with the bronze medal after losing in the semi-finals. Indian boxers won a total of three medals in the tournament. More than 200 boxers from 30 countries have participated in the tournament.
