On the set of the film, Mohanlal joined the actors and crew. The film's 12th Man crew has already begun filming in Kerala. The whole actor is seen at his fashionable best in a blues t-shirt and back hoodies, which is combined with his characteristic beard look, in the location video provided by the team. A few photos from the sets have already posted on social media.

According to rumors, the Mohanlal-starrer focuses on a gathering of 11 buddies and the addition of a 12th individual. In a 24-hour period, the film portrays the unexpected occurrences that occur during the get-togethers.

Mohanlal previously collaborated with filmmaker Jeethu Joseph on the hit film Drishyam in 2013. Drishyam 2, the sequel, was published in 2021, and they cooperated once again. The film 12th Man is directed by Antony Perumbavoor and distributed by Aashirvad Cinemas. The cast and crew of the film have yet to be announced by the producers.

Meanwhile, Mohanlal just completed the full shoot for Prithviraj Sukumaran's Malayalam movie Bro Daddy. For the time being, the actor will concentrate only on the filming of 12th Man.
