Moradabad: Saint Ramdas, patron of the Ganga Pollution Committee, has died under the suspicious circumstances in Moradabad, famous as Nagar Saint. His body was found on the floor in the porch of Valmiki temple near the Assaalpura large compound in the Galsheed police station area. The police recovered the body and sent it for post mortem. On the other hand, family members are feared to be murdered. On the first day of Navratri at Valmiki Temple, when devotees arrived for puja, the body of Saint Ramdas was found on the floor in the porch. SHO Galshheed Ayjpal Singh said that the team of Assalatpur outpost in-charge Pradeep Kumar arrived at the spot immediately on the information of devotees. The police did not find any bruises on their bodies.

As per the information received, the police has sent the body for the post-mortem after an on-the-spot investigation. According to the post mortem report, the cause of death has not been clarified. There is no injury that would show a possibility of murder. At present, it has sent to Bisra for safe investigation. The Bisra report will clarify the cause of death. After the post mortem, the police handed over the bodies to the probationers.

After the death of Saint Ramdas, all the people of the Hindutva organization reached post mortem house. While returning from there, the family members of the Hindutva outfit near the yellow Kothi started jamming. The protestors said that Mahant Ramdas has been murdered in a systematic manner. He demanded that the administration conduct an impartial inquiry.
