Houston: Thousands marched peacefully in the US after the death of black George Floyd in police custody in the US. These protesters paid tribute to 46-year-old African-American Floyd. In Minneapolis there are fierce demonstrations in many states of America. 60,000 people took part in this peaceful march. It also included 16 members of Floyd's family. This march was carried out from Green Park to City Hall, one mile from Discovery, in the harsh sun. People took out a peace march with the slogan 'Hands Up, Dont fire' and 'No Justice, No Peace' (No Justice, No Peace).

A number of city leaders and officials took part in this march organized by rappers Trough Truth and Ban Bee. It was attended by Mayor Sylvester Turner, Congressmen Sheila Jackson Lee, Lizzie Fletcher and Sylvia Garcia, and Congress member Al Green. Pastor Joel Osteen of Lakewood Church prayed with Floyd's family. The crowd kneeled and held silence for 30 seconds in memory of George in Houston. On this occasion, Floyd's siblings said that 'we never thought that we would have so many people for our brother (George)'. Rapper Ban Bee led this march. In March, the rapper asked 'What's his name'? And the crowd replied, 'George Floyd.'
