During the last 24 hours, 8,909 new cases of coronavirus have been reported, while 217 people have died during this period. This was the fifth consecutive day when more than 8 thousand cases have been reported in the country. Since 29 May, there has been a rapid increase in new cases.
According to the Health Ministry data on this case, there are 1,01,497 active cases of coronavirus in the country, while the number of healthy patients has increased to 1,00,302. In Maharashtra, the number of infected with this virus has crossed 72 thousand. For the second time, more than 100 people have been killed in a single day. Due to this, 29 policemen have also lost their lives here. On the other hand, in Delhi, on June 2, a record 1,298 new cases were reported, after which the number of infected people has increased to 22,132.
The first phase of lockdown was implemented on 24 March for the first time in the country. After this, four phases have passed and the fifth phase is on. During this period, statistics have come out that according to every lockdown, the number of corona infected has increased. But in the fourth phase of lockdown, more than 90 thousand patients were exposed. There is a complete possibility of breaking this record in Lockdown 5. In the last four days, the presence of more than 30 thousand cases is also visible in this case.
