The key Indian equity indices continued their bull on Wednesday with the BSE Sensex hitting the milestone at 56,000 level. At intraday level, It has touched a new high of 56,086.50 points and the Nifty50 on the National Stock Exchange has recorded an all-time high of 16,693 points.
Around 11 a.m., Sensex was trading at 56,025, higher by 234 points or 0.42 percent from its previous close of 55,792.27. It opened at 56,073.31 and has thus far touched an intraday low of 55,961.73 points. ON the other hand, the Nifty50 on the National Stock Exchange was at 16,675, higher by 60 points or 0.40 percent from its previous close.
Eicher Motors, Bajaj Finance, Ultratech Cement, HDFC Bank, and Bajaj Finserv are the top gainers at this point, while Hindalco, ICICI Bank, Kotak Bank, Titan, and ITC are the top losers. Nifty IT stocks gain nearly 1 percent while FMCG, Pharma, Banking and Financial Services stocks are also bullish while Metal, Media, Realty stocks drag.
