New Delhi: According to a survey by global consultancy company PwC, the majority of Indian organisations (80 percent) are likely to boost their cybersecurity spending in 2022. The risk landscape is always developing, according to PwC's 2022 Digital Trust Insights Survey, and organisations are investing more than ever in cybersecurity to manage their risks.
The impact of a risk event is not limited as the corporate environment becomes more complex due to the interconnectivity of systems and information, it stated, but rather has a domino effect with significant repercussions. To minimise these threats, businesses are preparing to develop sophisticated cybersecurity processes and controls. "In 2022, 82 percent of Indian respondents expect to increase their cybersecurity spending. Furthermore, 41% of Indian businesses expect double-digit increase in their cyber budgets in 2022, compared to 26 percent in the United States organizations globally," it stated.
