Now it is the time when Bollywood famous celebrities are focusing on making such biopics on who made our country proud in various fields. Nowadays celebrities trying to make movies that can touch the audience's hearts.  

No doubt in that when an actor portrays a real-life character, our respect for him grows leaps and bounds. And that is because of the way they do justice to the roles they pick, says a lot about their acting skills.

Recently Akshay Kumar starrer Padman, based on the life of Arunachalam Muruganantham, a man who wore a sanitary pad just to break the taboo. Before this, we saw blockbusters like MS Dhoni: The Untold Story and Dangal.

And if you thought that Bollywood was done with biopics with the end of 2017, you are wrong, as the year 2018 is jam-packed with biopics. Come, let's take a look at these biopics which everybody is looking forward to:  

- Mogul

Mogul is a film based on the life of Gulshan Kumar. In an interview with Bombay Times, Gulshan's son Bhushan Kumar shared, "I can think of no one better than Akshay to play him on screen.This is not just another film for us. Mogul is a very emotional project. This is a story, which will be narrated only once. Subhash is working on the script, and the focus is on getting it right. There are so many aspects of the subject, and it's important that the right emotional connect comes through."

-Rakesh Sharma's biopic

Rakesh Sharma was the first Indian to travel to space. His biopic will be produced by Siddharth Roy Kapur and will be directed by Mahesh Mathai. According to Deccan Chronicle, Shah Rukh Khan will play the role of Indian astronaut Rakesh Sharma.

-Saina Nehwal's biopic

Shraddha Kapoor has been training under former badminton player Pullela Gopichand for past month-and-a-half for her upcoming movie based on the life of ace badminton player Saina Nehwal. According to TOI, the shooting has been put on hold till Shraddha perfects her game to look convincing on screen.

-Sanjay Dutt's biopic

Ranbir Kapoor will be seen stepping into Sanjay Dutt's shoes. Yes, RK is bringing all the ups and downs of the veteran actor's life on screen. Apart from Ranbir Kapoor, the film also stars Manisha Koirala as Nargis, Dia Mirza as Sanjay Dutt's wife Maanayata Dutt, Paresh Rawal as Sunil Dutt, Sonam Kapoor, Anushka Sharma and Vicky Kaushal.

Filmmaker Rajkumar Hirani announced on Twitter, "#DuttBiopic releasing on June 29."

-Super 30

Super 30 is an upcoming biopic on the mathematical wizard Anand Kumar, whose role is being portrayed by Hrithik Roshan.

According to a TOI report, Anand Kumar said that even though Hrithik looks nothing like him, he will encapsulate the spirit of his character perfectly.
