Guna: The negligence of power department people in Madhya Pradesh is increasing day by day. Now recently a case of negligence has come to light from Guna in Madhya Pradesh. Here a 65-year-old woman has been billed Rs 2.5 lakh. 65-year-old Rambai Prajapati is said to be a domestic helper and lives in a hut. In fact, Rambai uses electricity for just one bulb and a table fan and has been billed Rs 2.5 lakhs. Earlier, her bill for every month used to come from Rs.300 to Rs.500, but this time she was surprised.

The woman says she could not deposit the bill for two months due to lockdown and this time she got a bill of Rs 2.50 lakh. When the woman reached the electricity department office after seeing her electricity bill figures, she did not get any good response from the department. Now the old woman has claimed that ,''She waits for the authorities under a tree outside the office every day but no one pays attention to it. She said, 'I earn my living by working as a maid. I have a bulb and a table fan in my house. My bill has come to Rs.2.5 lakhs. I have been coming to the electricity department for the last several days, but nobody listen to me'.

At the same time, Rambai also said, 'I had also contacted the Guna Collector, but my problem was not solved'. This is not the first time, but so far many such incidents have been uncovered in Madhya Pradesh, but the government is not paying attention to it.
