Heavy cold wreaks havoc, school timings changed in these cities of MP

Bhopal: The timings of all schools in Bhopal, the capital of Madhya Pradesh, have been changed. After the order of the Minister, Collector Shri Lavania issued orders for this. The Collector has issued orders to revise the time of all schools in view of the cold.

According to the order, all government and non-government schools, and Anganwadis in Bhopal will start from 9:30 am. Collector Shri Lavania said that schools running in a single shift will start from 9:30 am and schools in which classes are held in two shifts will start from 9:00 am. A few days ago, in-charge minister Bhupendra Singh issued orders to the district magistrates to change the timings of schools or declare holidays due to the increasing cold in Bhopal. After which the Collector has taken serious note and issued orders for change in the time immediately.

Let us tell you that fog has shown the most impact in the capital Bhopal in Madhya Pradesh on the previous day. Also, the Meteorological Department has issued an alert for a cold wave. Minister Bhupendra Singh has given instructions to the Bhopal collector regarding this. In view of the increasing outbreak of cold waves and falling temperatures in the Bhopal district, the Bhopal District Magistrate has been directed to either declare a holiday for school children or if this is not possible, then change the timings of schools.
