BHOPAL: On Saturday, the election management committee of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) for Madhya Pradesh will convene to devise a compelling strategy for its upcoming social media campaign. The committee aims to assess the preparedness of the state BJP unit's social media team.

Under the leadership of Union Minister Narendra Singh Tomar, who recently assumed the role of convener for the state's elections, this will mark the second pivotal meeting. Joining him will be Union Ministers Bhupendra Yadav and Ashwini Vaishnaw, assigned as in-charge and co-incharge for the Madhya Pradesh elections.

The meeting will  also see the presence of Union Minister Prahlad Singh Patel, V.D. Sharma, the head of the state unit, along with other influential state BJP organizational leaders. Their primary focus will be on reviewing the social media team's preparations and devising a detailed strategy to counter the Congress. A dedicated team from the social media unit will present its readiness during the meeting," as stated by an MP BJP office-bearer.

Significantly, the BJP's Central leadership has designated Narendra Singh Tomar as the convenor of the election committee for Madhya Pradesh. With prior experience in Madhya Pradesh and having served as the state BJP President, Tomar's induction into Prime Minister Narendra Modi's cabinet adds to his credibility.

Tomar, known for his strong ties with party leaders from various factions, hails from the Gwalior-Chambal region. His appointment as convenor is seen as an effort to unite all senior party leaders on a single platform.
