Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): The state Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) convened a state-level meeting of its IT cell and social media team on Thursday at state headquarters in preparation for the Madhya Pradesh assembly elections that will take place at the end of this year.

Shivraj Singh Chouhan, the chief minister of Madhya Pradesh, Amit Malviya, the national convenor of the BJP's IT cell and social media, Murlidhar Rao, and BJP State President VD Sharma have taken part the meet.

Reacting to the meeting BJP State chief VD Sharma said, "The BJP Social Media team and IT cell are holding a crucial meeting today. The assembly staff as well as the district IT cell personnel are present at the meeting today. Abhishek Sharma, who is in the head of the Madhya Pradesh BJP's social media division, will also be present at this meeting. It is being planned to improve social media in preparation for the upcoming 2023 assembly elections.

Besides, the BJP State Working Committee will meet on Friday to plan the campaign strategy, which will begin on May 30 and run through June 30.

He added that the BJP would once more establish the state's government based on the flagship programmes of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan as well as the organization's strength.
