Bhopal: Former Madhya Pradesh CM Kamal Nath has made a big announcement that 100 units of electricity will be waived when the Congress government comes and half the bill will have to be paid for 200 units. He announced this while addressing a public meeting in Badnavar on Thursday and said that '100 units of electricity waived, 200 units halved'. On this occasion, he leveled allegations against the Shivraj government and said that inflation has skyrocketed under the BJP rule. He said that after the formation of the Congress government, plans will be made keeping in mind the weakest sections first.

Kamal Nath said that today the youth of Madhya Pradesh is wandering for employment and the food provider of the state is wandering for fair price of seeds and crops. Flat rule is going on in the state, flat employment, flat recruitment system, flat education system, flat health system, flat nursing colleges, flat industries. Today the arrangements in every area in the state are messed up. He said that we are proud that the Pithampur industrial area was built by the Congress government, but it is very sad to see the condition of Pithampur today. The BJP government has destroyed industrial areas with wrong policies. Kamal Nath said that there is a demand from all over Madhya Pradesh that this time a local candidate should be given in the assembly elections, with which I agree to a great extent, our local organization will play an important role in this.

Accusing the BJP of making religion a political issue, he said that religion is a matter of our faith and we do not misuse religion politically. I myself went to Indore for the program of Pandit Pradeep Mishra, went to Chhatarpur to meet Bageshwar Maharaj. But that is not a political issue for us. BJP does the work of bringing religion on the political platform for selfishness. Along with this, he said that 'I am not afraid of ED and CBI at all because my path is the path of truth, no one can point a finger at my political life of 44 years, 44 years I have been voted by the people of my area. There is no MP in the country who has won as many elections as I have won. Kamal Nath said that there used to be 40 percent commission in Karnataka. But the people of Madhya Pradesh know that there is a system of corruption right from the panchayat to the ministry. He called upon the people to support the truth and said that this is the election of the future of Madhya Pradesh and only the public can do the work of giving it the right direction.'
