Indore: Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav chaired a review meeting in Indore on Sunday, bringing together public representatives and officials from various departments. The meeting highlighted Indore's role as a crucial financial hub and discussed future development plans.

Chief Minister Yadav emphasized Indore's importance, stating, "Indore holds a unique position in the country and is known as the financial capital of the state. As part of PM Narendra Modi's 'Amrit Kaal' plan for 2047, Indore, Ujjain, Dewas, and Dhar will be developed into a metropolitan area. Among these cities, the reports for Indore and Ujjain are the most promising. Other cities will also see significant development."

Regarding future projects, Yadav detailed plans for streamlined growth in railways, roads, airways, and industrial sectors. He added, "Public representatives have provided valuable suggestions. Our goal is to make Madhya Pradesh a model of development." The Chief Minister also noted that the state's development will align with Government of India projects. The metro project connecting Indore to Ujjain is expected to be completed before the Simhastha (Kumbh Mela). Ongoing metro projects will accelerate, with speeds reaching 80 kilometers per hour, and eventually 160 kilometers per hour with the Vande Metro service.

In addition, Yadav will attend a tribal student encouragement and honor ceremony in Khalwa, Khandwa district on Sunday. During the event, he will inaugurate a free bus service for girls from Harsud and Khalwa, provided for Government College Harsud, and honor students benefiting from the Tribal Affairs Department's scholarship scheme for studying abroad.

Earlier, Yadav paid tribute to soldier Pradeep Patel, who died in a road accident in Sikkim, at Khajuraho Airport in Chhatarpur district. Four Indian Army personnel, including Patel, lost their lives on September 5 while traveling from Pedong in West Bengal to Zuluk along the Silk Route in Pakyong District, according to Indian Army officials.
