Bhopal: In an informal interaction with the media, Madhya Pradesh Congress President Kamal Nath in Bhopal on Thursday indicated that he will not contest the assembly elections as he has to see all the seats. Later, when state BJP spokesperson Narendra Saluja tweeted about it, there was a big political stir and it was denied by the state Congress. On behalf of the media department of the party, a letter was issued clarifying that Kamal Nath has not made any announcement regarding not contesting the upcoming assembly elections.

In this conversation with the media, Kamal Nath said that there is no dispute in Congress regarding the face of the post of CM. I have already said that I am not in the race for any post. All the senior leaders of the party are working together to secure the future of Madhya Pradesh. In the seats where the party is facing continuous defeat, candidates will be declared first. Congress will give priority to new and young faces in the upcoming assembly elections. He said that preparations are going on at every level. I am continuously holding meetings with the workers.

which is in our system. As far as the survey is concerned, I constantly take feedback from local workers and leaders. The same was done in the Municipal Corporation elections and its results are in front. Regarding the Vikas Yatra started by the government in the state from February 5, he said that protests are coming from place to place. Describing the government's claim regarding investment in the state as paper, he said that today no industrialist wants to set up industry in the state. The investment comes from trust and today it is in crisis. CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan took a jibe at the ongoing controversy regarding the face of the CM in Congress and said that the party has nothing in its hands. The sticks are moving with each other. Earlier Kamal Nath was calling himself the future CM and now he is calling himself the inevitable CM. The situation has become such that only Congress leaders are saying that no CM is fixed at all.
