Bhopal: Madhya Pradesh Education Minister makes statements on one subject or the other day. At times, he also becomes a part of the headlines for his statements. Now, recently, he has taken a U-turn on one of his own statements. In fact, in a statement recently, he blamed Jawaharlal Nehru's policies for rising inflation. In a statement on price rise last Saturday, Minister Vishwas Sarang had said, "Inflation is rising due to Jawaharlal Nehru's speech."
Now, changing his statement today, the Education Minister said, "Inflation is rising in the country due to policies. At the same time, he added, "When he said Nehru's policies deteriorated the economy, congress leaders started having a stomach ache." Vishwas Sarang also said, "He has put his hand on the sad vein of the Congress." In a statement last Saturday, he said, "Nehru's speech from the Red Fort on August 15, 1947, spoiled the economy of the country. After his statement, the Congress BJP and the statements of ministers and MLAs continued to surface."
Now, in the meantime, Vishwas Sarang says, the Congress says that if Nehruji built the country, he should also answer why Nehru ji ignored Gandhiji's model of the economy after independence. At the same time, the Education Minister said, "According to Gandhiji, the economy and culture of the country was linked to villages, farms, farmers. According to Gandhiji's model, the economy of the village should have increased in the village itself, so why did Nehru ignore it? He also said, "Nehru was very impressed with Western culture because of his study abroad. That is why he gave a boost to Hindustan Indianness. That is why the agro-based economy which should have moved forward has slowed down.''
