Indore: A video recently surfaced from Indore in Madhya Pradesh. In this video, a young man selling bangles was beaten up. The video is going viral on social media and police have also registered an FIR following the uproar over the incident. Madhya Pradesh Home Minister Narottam Mishra has now made his statement on the issue. Recently, Narottam Mishra claimed that the youth was selling bangles in the area by naming himself a Hindu so the crowd became furious. Not only that, but he also claimed that two Aadhaar cards were also reported to have been recovered from the youth.

 

In fact, today, on Monday, Narottam Mishra said, "According to the facts found in the investigation into the incident in Indore, the bangles were being renamed and sold bangles. He was selling bangles by naming him A Hindu. Two such Aadhaar cards have also been recovered from him." There was a controversy over Hindu women wearing bangles during Sawan. Action has been taken against both sides. However, after a video of a youth being assaulted in the Banganga area went viral earlier, people from a community rushed to the police station late on Sunday night and demanded action against the accused. The victim is said to be Taslim and hails from the Hardoi district of Uttar Pradesh.

Last Sunday, a video went viral on social media in which she is being beaten up by some people and distributing her belongings for free. You can watch this video here. After the video surfaced, people from a community gathered in the Central Kotwali police station area of Indore late last Sunday night and raised slogans. Following the uproar, central Kotwali police have registered zero FIR in 14 sections against unidentified persons.
