Bhopal: Cyclone Takte, which is forming in the Arabian Sea, has now turned into a cyclone from the region of Avdab. Meteorologists say the system is likely to move north-west after being in the sea for about 24 hours and garnering a lot of energy. It is now expected to hit the gujarat coast tomorrow, may 16. It is being reported that due to this effect, thundershowers may occur in many districts of Madhya Pradesh including the capital from today.

According to reports, rain is likely to prevail across Madhya Pradesh on May 18-19 with strong winds. In fact, according to the information given by the Meteorological Centre, the wind conditions remained southern last Friday. Talking to reporters recently, weatherman Ajay Shukla said that there is currently an upper wind cyclone on Pakistan. There is a trough from this cyclone to Uttar Pradesh.

He further said that Vidarbha is also under an upper wind cyclone and the continuous humidity in the atmosphere due to the storm in the Arabian Sea is likely to bring thundershowers at isolated places in Gwalior, Chambal division districts including the capital from Saturday. At the same time, agriculture expert and retired agriculture director Dr. GS Kaushal said, "At present, the mango crop has come very well. The moong crop is also in a better condition. Strong winds and rain will cause a lot of damage to these right crops.''
