Former Indian cricket captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni has made a special request to the countrymen on social media. Dhoni in his appeal has sent a message to the people to plant trees and save the forest. Dhoni is seen in a different avatar wearing a red T-shirt.

The same Chennai Super Kings posted this photo of Dhoni on their official social media handle. The photo contains a wooden plank that says, "Save the forest, plant trees.'' At the same time, CSK also wrote a great caption, "Planting the right thoughts... Thala... In fact, this photo of Dhoni is from Himachal Pradesh where he went for a holiday with his family. The former Captain of the Indian team stayed in a grand villa called "Whispering Pines" due to the Shimla vacation which is very luxurious in appearance.

Dhoni had announced his retirement from all formats of international cricket last year but decided to play in the Indian Premier League. Dhoni also led CSK in the 14th season of IPL. Though the tournament had to be postponed midway due to corona infection, BCCI will once again host the remaining matches of the tournament in September. The rest of the IPL season matches will be held in UAE.
